Meet Morris - Our Pampered Red Tabby Persian Cat

Name: Morris - The Red Tabby Persian Cat

Birthdate: September, 2009

Describe Looks:  They call me a 'Red Tabby" but you'd probably say I look 'orange'.  I'm very puffy and my nose is scrunched.  I also have something that makes me unique - my bent tail which was caused by a birth defect.  Don't feel too sorry for me.  I am still REALLY cute

Favorite Food: Wellness Wet Food

Any Siblings?: My adopted brother Mitch.

Favorite Hobby: Eating, laying around, hissing and 'growling' at the new dog and making him feel as unwelcome as possible.  I also like playing with my toys, chasing my family's feet, and leaping up onto high furniture (to get away from the dog).

Any special someone in your life?: A purple fuzzy pillow I found in my human sister's room.  It's the love of my life :)

Special Talents?: Impersonating a Gremlin and an angry dragon. Being super cute and irresistible.  Meow for now.

An Interview With Mitch, A Pampered Persian Cat

Mitch, Our Pampered Persian Cat

Name: Mitch

Birthdate: October

Describe Looks: I don't mean to sound conceited, but I am pretty darn good looking. Besides being handsome, I have a rather suave silver and white coat and large copper eyes (I don't recommend looking into them for long because you may be consumed). I am.. well, I prefer the term 'big boned'.

Favorite Food: Wellness Wet Food

Any Siblings?: My adopted brother Morris.

Favorite Hobby: Laying belly up, eating, ruling the house.

Any special someone in your life?: At this time I am in love with myself only.

Special Talents?: Being super handsome. Meow.

Meet Morris, Our Second Pampered Persian Cat

Meet Morris, our Red Tabby Persian Cat.

We purchased Morris from a breeder in North Carolina who is also the same breeder where Mitch originally came from. We decided after having Mitch that we loved persian cats so much that we wanted another one!

When we first got Morris, a Red Tabby Persian,  he weighed in at about barely one pound.  He was so tiny he could fit in the palm of our hands.  He was a teeny tiny little orangish fluff ball.  When Morris first arrived, I constantly had my eye on him because he was so tiny and tiny does not mix well with a very active two year old.

Morris is growing rapidly before our eyes!  He's more affectionate than Mitch and quite curious, and is always up for a game of chase with any of his little toys.  He spends most of his day laying around and eating .  When he gets tired, much to our amusement, he plops himself up against the wall so it looks like he is actually sitting up.  I'm pretty sure Morris is convinced that he is a person too.

Another one of his pastimes is tormenting Mitch.  He loves to stalk and then attack him (in a friendly way though).  He's so much fun to watch!

My First and Oldest Adorable Pampered Persian Cat - Mitch

Mitch, my first pampered persian cat.

Meet Mitch.  He is definitely a pampered persian cat who loves to rule the roost.  Mitch was given to us by a friend when they were having another baby.  They already had 3 cats and needed to have someone help them out.

Mitch was about a year and a half old when he joined our household.  We fell in love with him immediately.  He is a handsome, fluffy, silver and white pure bred Lynx persian cat.  His personality is typical of a cat.  He's affectionate on his own terms, otherwise his day consists of laying around, belly up, eating, and avoiding Morris, our second pampered persian cat.
